Wednesday August 15th

OK, the plan for this week is to meet for an organizational meeting - talk about future study plans, where we'll meet, what activities and service we'll be doing in the fall, etc. So we're meeting in the church library (behind the sanctuary, down the hall away from the cafeteria) at 6:30pm - we're going to order pizza, so let Rich know if you're coming and if you have a special topping request (comment here if you don't have his email and I'll pass it along).

Summer coming to an end

So I've really let this go over the summer - at least for the rest of this month we're still on our summer schedule of Bible study ever other week (second and fourth Wednesday for August), meeting at Rebecca's house (post a comment here if you need directions). Our 'off' weeks have been casual social events mostly.
We're going to be having some exciting stuff coming up in the fall, so let me know if you'd like to be involved in planning/executing and I'll pass your name along to those organizing things. And I'll keep this as updated as possible so everyone knows what's going on!

We're back at Keith's one last time before the summer starts, for Bible study continuing our study of Hebrews. Come on out and join us before we switch to the new summer schedule and a new location! 6:30pm on Wednesday - see you there!

Church-wide picnic, take two!

OK, we had some weather complications last week, so the church-wide picnic has been rescheduled for this coming Wednesday the 23rd at 5:30 - last names A-M bring sides, last names L-Z bring desserts. Hope to see you there!

Sorry this is so late, but we're attending the church-wide picnic tonight at Redeemer, starting at 5:30pm. If your last name starts with the letter A-L, please bring a side dish; if your last name starts with M-Z, please bring a dessert. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided by the church. You might want to bring a blanket or chair to sit on, as there is limited picnic table seating.

Wednesday May 9th

Hi all! I'm so sorry, I've missed a couple weeks of updating this for y'all - but I hope you can join us for what continues to be a great discussion of Hebrews - we're finishing chapter 6 and maybe starting chapter 7 I think. We'll be at Keith's for the rest of the studies this month before we move to our new summer location - 6:30pm as usual!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, celebrating with family and friends!

We're meeting at Keith's this Wednesday at 6:30pm for our continued study of Hebrews - I believe we'll be covering Hebrews 5, so you can go ahead and read ahead it you'd like.

Climbing cancelled

Rock-climbing this week has been cancelled - maybe it can be rescheduled for later on in the summer. I'm still planning on hanging out at Starbucks on Robinhood if you'd like to join me - otherwise I'll have a book to read :)

Make sure if you're going to Charleston you've figured out if you need to ride down/back with someone - there are groups leaving throughout the day on Friday I believe, and plenty of people coming back on either Sunday or Monday. See you there!

Wednesday, March 28

OK, so there's a group going indoor rock-climbing in Greensboro this Wednesday - meet at the church at 6:15pm to carpool over, and plans will be made for dinner, etc. I think the cost was $7 per person - contact Kari (nckari AT yahoo DOT com) for more info.

For those of us who can't make it climbing, I'm hanging out at the Starbucks on Robinhood Road (across from the TJMaxx and Lowes Foods) around 6:30pm that night, and you're welcome to join me!
