Wednesday November 29th

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you got to spend time with the people you're thankful for!

Since this may be our last official social/service week until after
Christmas, we're thinking we should do our now-annual Christmas
service project this Wednesday. So here's the plan:

Let's meet at the church for Wed night dinner at 5:15 (I think that's
right, somebody correct me if I'm wrong) - for those of you not
familiar with the dinner, it's in the gym/fellowship hall behind the
sanctuary (behind if you're facing the sanctuary from the Miller St
side). If you can't make it for dinner, we'll plan on leaving the
church at 6:30 from the lower parking lot off of Miller (by the soccer
fields).

From there, we'll go someplace like Target and do probably one of two
things - either get things to fill Operation Christmas Child
shoeboxes, or buy toys for the FROG toy drive. We can decide once
we're all together, or if you have some input, let me know!

Should be a good time - if we finish early, I'm sure there will be
people up for getting coffee or something after to just hang out and
talk - so give me or someone a call if you can't make it til later and
we'll tell you where we are!

Happy Thanksgiving

We're not meeting this week so everyone can be with family and friends for Thanksgiving - we'll resume out weekly meetings next week with our social week - email Michael or me with ideas for what to do next week!

I've added a link to the Yahoo email listserv for YAF in the sidebar on the right - this is the best way to keep up to date with what's going on the group, not just with Bible study announcements, but also fun spur-of-the-moment activites or group needs. Just click on the link and sign up (you don't need a Yahoo account to sign up, I don't think) if you'd like more information!

This week

I'm going to stop promising that we're going to start the Attributes of God, cause the last couple times I have, we've done something completely different! So I'll just say that we're having Bible study this Wednesday at 6:30 at Keith's house, so please come join us for what is sure to be a wonderful discussion, no matter what the topic :)

Wednesday November 8th

We're having Bible study this week - after last week's talk about missions with Carol Hall, I believe we'll be delving into the Attributes of God with Lance this week. Come out and join us for a time of worship, learning and fellowship!

Also, if you're interested in the beach trip coming up this weekend, make sure to let Becky know asap! :)
