Changes coming!

Based on the great conversations we've had about the purpose/vision for the young adults of Redeemer, we are making some changes - starting in November (so bascially next week), we will begin meeting at Keith/Rich's house for Bible study - and we will start meeting every week for Bible Study, except for the last week of the month, which will be a dedicated 'fun week' - hopefully there will be other changes coming that will help improve the group and mold us into who God wants us to be - we'll be trying to get this publicized in the church so new people are aware, so please help spread the word!
I'm looking forward to the ways these changes can help us grow!

OK, so I'm going to try to do better to keep this updated so people can check and see what's going on with YAF...
This weekend is the BBQ festival in Lexington - if you want to go, call or email Kari (or leave a comment here if you don't have that info) and let her know - she's trying to get a group together to go Saturday

Next week Tuesday (24th) is a discussion meeting at Keith's house, hosted by Keith and Rich - for discussion of the purposes and visions of the group - for more info, talk to Rich or Becky, or leave a comment here and I'll get it to you - starts at 7:45pm

Beach trip to Ocean Isle coming up the first weekend in November - should be lots of fun - let Becky know if you want to come and you're not on the list yet - should be roughly $50-60 bucks for the weekend

Sorry this is so late - jet lag and all...
We're meeting at the salon again tonight - since we swapped weeks to go to the fair - so it's two Bible Studies for the price of one!!!
Anyway, David Gregory salon at 6:30pm - be there!

Ok folks, here's Becky's latest email:


this wednesday, instead of meeting for Bible study, we are going to the fair. two things are happening with this.
first of all...if you bring 4 cans of lowes house brand food you get in free.
the other thing, ffh (a contemporary Christian band) is playing. so, hopefully, i will see you people there. :)

let's car pool from the church.
let's meet at 6pm.
if that is not good for you and you want to meet up with us, call me on my cell at 408-0258.

make sure to bring your cans and don't forget to not eat anything so you can fill up on all the fair food. :)
